The issues of scouring around a bridge have become prominent in recent research mainly due to recurrent extreme weather events. Thus, designing with the appropriate protection measures is essential safeguard it against failure, which may take place from high flows resulting Bridges partially or entirely submerged during events such as large floods and are subject pressure-flow scour, condition where flow directed downward under deck, creating an increase velocity corresponding bed scour.
